Entertainment Resources, Inc. started in 1987 when Chuck Kruger began hatching plans to retire from nearly two decades of live performing. "I was ready to move into a new chapter of my life," says Chuck, "but I wasn’t sure exactly what that was..."

Tim Sample asked Chuck to be his manager. Author Stephen King encouraged this one night when the three of them performed in a Red Cross benefit at the then-brand new Maine Center for the Arts in Orono. Soon Chuck was doing booking for friends including Jonathan Edwards, Dave Mallett, Schooner Fare, Bill Chinnock, Devonsquare, Christine Lavin, Cheryl Wheeler, John Gorka, Aztec Two-Step, and Eight to The Bar, among others.
Dot O’Donnell joined the company in 1993. As Dot took over many of Chuck’s duties, Chuck re-defined his job to oversee larger events, including corporate events and big private parties in some of the exclusive enclaves on the east coast. Entertainment Resources today books music for several hundred corporate events and weddings each year, plus selected large events for clients of all kinds. We’d be glad to help you with your next special event. National ARTISTS that we’ve worked with include The Dixie Chicks, Bill Cosby, Reba McEntire, The Temptations, Willie Nelson, Don McLean, Sha Na Na and more. Booking and Event CLIENTS include New York Yacht Club, L. L. Bean, Bowdoin College, MBNA America, and many more.
